4. API Keys

  • You must provide your own API keys for certain premium features (Google Gemini, Mistral AI, ConvertAPI).
  • You are responsible for all costs associated with your personal API usage.
  • API keys are stored locally in your browser for security and are your responsibility.
  • We are not liable for any API key misuse or associated costs incurred.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or copyrighted content that you do not own.
  • Use the service for spam, harassment, or malicious purposes.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit our service.
  • Resell or redistribute our service without explicit permission.
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws.
  • Overload our servers with excessive requests (DDOS).
  • Generate metadata for content that violates stock platform policies (e.g., hate speech).

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain all rights to the content/images you upload. We claim no ownership.
  • Generated Metadata: Metadata generated by our AI is licensed to you for commercial use.
  • Our Platform: MetaGen Pro's code, design, logos, and AI models are our intellectual property.
  • Third-Party AI: AI-generated content follows the terms of the respective AI provider.

7. Service Availability

  • We strive for 99%+ uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
  • We may perform maintenance updates with or without prior notice.
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue specific features at any time.
  • Free tier users may experience limitations or rate limits based on server load.

8. Disclaimers

  • Our service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee that generated metadata will improve sales or search rankings.
  • AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before use.
  • We are not liable for rejected uploads on any stock photography platforms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the past 12 months.
  • We are not responsible for any third-party API costs or service failures.
